Before Thanksgiving...
I ran out of time to put these up before the cruise... so here are some fun Thanksgiving activities that we did. The Friday before we made these turkeys at play group and then the boys that were at school during that time got to do them later in the afternoon while they had a friend over.
These are the Indian hats that we made the day before. We used there hand print and then they colored it to be the feathers. I was surprised that most of them were being good for the camera. They all seemed to enjoy the craft.

Neighborhood Halloween Party!
We all got invited to go to the neighborhood Halloween Party on Halloween. It was a lot of fun. I forgot my camera, but my friend was kind enough to let me take some pictures of the kids doing some things. This was one of the games that they all got to do. The object was to eat the dough nut off of the string with out using your hands.

Thanks for bring Kambree to a bit of the party. I loved seeing them in there costumes!
Eating Spiders!
I meant to make these on Halloween, but since we had so much fun already packed into the day.. we didn't get to it until the next week. I made a snack out of Ritz crackers, peanut butter, and stick pretzels. They looked like spiders! Devin loved them. Kambree and Cayden weren't to sure about them, but I like the pictures that I got of them. Here they are...

Fall Break and Thanksgiving Point Fun!
On the Monday of Fall Break, we attempted an outing to Thanksgiving Point Gardens. We have a pass, so I only payed half price for Cayden and Devin. It worked out really well. I think it was because we got to be outside on such a nice day, and it helped that not many people were there. The kids had a blast. I tried to include pictures of everything that we did and capture the fun. Hope you enjoy!
First we went by the fish... we tried to feed them but the algae made it hard to even see them this time.

We took packed lunches to enjoy and then they started posing for pictures...
We went to the Secret Garden.. and took this one, and the ones at the fountain.

Next we headed over to the waterfalls... They all rolled down the hill... while Bekah and Kambree ran down...

It was cute to watch Kambree and Bekah dance around on the stage.
This is my favorite picture of them all sitting and watching the waterfalls intently.

After we saw the bottom, of course we need to go to the top of them. They have a walk way were you can see them all rushing down... We like to make it our grand finale.
We all had a lot of fun and the girls and Ben were so tired out that they fell asleep on the way home.

Toy Favorite
Young Love
I thought that this was a cute picture of Kambree in the train box. Apparently you have a girl that you'll have to watch out for with the boys... she's a cutie...
In fact this is Ben's friend Jake and she thinks highly of him... at least she gets excited when she sees him and remembered his name from the first time she met him. As did he... I think that I am pretty sure that he has a little crush on her. When he came this day she got all excited and yelled his name and he just played it cool and said "Hey". But then later when they were playing trains together, Jake poured out his little innocent heart to her. It was so cute. He first told her "Kambree I like you" then she just kept playing. Then he went on to tell her that he "really liked her" I had to giggle. She didn't care, but it looked like he was relieved to get it all out.
Birthday enjoyment!
Rrrr and Cockadoodle doo!
The kids found the old Halloween customs in the closet and loved trying them all on. The Rooster costume fit Kambree perfect. (And yes if you would like, you may use it for this year... it doesn't fit Bekah yet.)
Cayden got into it too, but is was a bit snug...
His favorite, is the Lion... which is also Erik's favorite.

Rrr, now that is a scary lion!

Doughnuts!
The girls and Ben were really good at the store, so I rewarded them with doughnuts. The boys got to get on the reward. Cayden loved eating all the stuff on the top first and then digging into the rest... I think it was a bit much for him though... he only made it 1/3 of the way through. I didn't realize until now that I never got a picture of Kambree and Devin enjoying their's. Kambree had hers before the nap and Devin when he returned from school.

Start of School!
This is the first day of Kindergarten for Cayden and Erik. They rode the bus for the first time on the way home!
As you can see... Kambree was really excited to see Cayden when he got home.
This picture is actually the second day that kindergarten started. The first time that they got to go to the bus together.

Erik and Cayden seem to love being able to do the whole experience together. They have been begging me to let them be big boys and let them walk home together. I let them yesterday and had another mom that was going over watch them. Never can be to careful!
